The Tank
20 Gallons of planted fun. Eco-Soil for the substrate, a simple bio filter for water ciruculation. And plants. Lots of Plants.

The Moss wall is slowly spreading. The 3 Oto Cats have just been added and are doing a number on getting the glass crystal clear.
But the most amazing thing is the plant growth. I am now adding Flourish Excel (1 cap a week) and Flourish Iron (1/2 cap a week) and
have tried to do the 30% water change every 2-3 weeks. The established plants are loving the new nutrients, and the new plants are out of control.
It's pruning time, I do believe.

The Moss wall has started. I don't think I have enough moss to give it a good run, but a couple months will tell the tale.

The Glosso and the hairgrass continue it's eventual domination of the lower levels, the Shrimp have doublde in size, and get this, the Sword has budded out (visible near the right top of the Sword plant). Who'd a thunk? Now, if only I could stay ahead of the snails.

The Glossostigma is spreading in the front left, the hairgrass is sprouting new blades. Hair algae is slowly getting under control. The Java Fern in the driftwood is thriving, but the big Amazon Sword in the back left has got to go.

Added the 4 Amano Shrimp and 2 Blueberry Shrimp. Moved the driftwood farther back. Planted the Dwarf Hairgrass on the right front and the glossostigma on the left front for groundcover. The Java Fern seem to be thriving in the current from the filter above.

Added the driftwood and the rock. Tied the Java Ferns and 1 of the Anubias Nana to the driftwood and planted the other Anubias Nana in the hole in the rock. Trimmed the Sprite a little.

And now it begins. Water, substrate and a few plants (Water Sprite, Java Fern, Anubias Nana and 1 large Amazon Sword). Put the tetra and the lone danio in as well.
